Welcome to the official page of the Cash Fire Department located in Hunt County approximately 50 miles east of Dallas, TX. Established in 1985, the Cash Fire Department continues to operate from one central station on State Highway 34 between Greenville and Lake Tawakoni; two of the most heavily populated areas within Hunt County. Our first alarm fire district covers approximately 66 square miles with an estimated population of 8000 residents. We also have the responsibility of Technical Rescues, including motor vehicle extrications, within a 233 square mile area serving an additional 30,000 residents and visitors to central and southern Hunt County.
We understand that without the support of our residents we are nothing and, as such, we are more than happy to offer public safety awareness training at no cost to civic organizations, churches and other non-profit organizations. We would also love to make you, the citizens, more informed about YOUR fire department by giving a tour of our facilities and staff. To schedule a tour simply use the contact us tab above to either send us a message or give us a call.
What We Do...
We are equipped to handle both structural and wildland fire suppression. We take a very aggressive approach on fire suppression to save as many lives and as much property as possible.
We are fortunate to offer a full range of technical rescue services including vehicle extrication, swift water, confined space, trench and high angle rescues.
